Over the years, while working with books both in Tokyo and at McNally Jackson in NYC, I’ve come across many fantastic independent magazines. Independent magazines have become more creative, more sophisticated, and more specialized. That’s a wonderful thing, but I worried this might all seem a little intimidating to customers.

That’s why I started Diane’s Neighbor. I believe all of these magazines should be easily accessible to and enjoyed with ease and fun by EVERYONE.

So many people still seek out and love print magazines, but there aren’t enough places that actually make them available. And independent magazine creators definitely deserve more opportunities to showcase their amazing works of art.

That’s what Diane’s Neighbor is all about.
